Testing of Power Quality
The quality of supplied electrical power may be a decisive factor for supplier selection or setting the electricity price.
The power quality test consists in a measurement of main low voltage or high voltage characteristics at the point of connection of the consumer to the grid. The measurement results are then evaluated according to quality criteria established by the CSN EN 50160 Standard.
For the measurement, we use the ELCOM BK 550 grid analyzer. In low voltage circuits, we can connect the analyzer directly to phase conductors, or possibly via clip-on current transformers or Rogovski coils. In high voltage circuits, we use standard outputs of current or voltage instrument transformers.
We perform individual power quality tests or long term automatic power quality monitoring.
